The 2023 Riesling No. 6 Senior, harvested from 70-year-old vines at the tail-end of the Ayler Kupp, benefits from the evening sun. A subtle nose brings pale peach that ripens with more air. Smoothness and flow define the palate, with gentle, calm fruit and a drop of lemon to accentuate the yellow, smooth peach flesh. It's still dry, emphasizing lovely, understated peach fruit and a mild finish. Generous but with no fat at all.
