The low yields in Montée de Tonnerre in 2023 seem to have resulted in a wine that is more primary in personality and taking its time developing during its élevage. The wine has excellent depth and mineral undertow, but it is still quite youthful in its aromatic profile of lemon, green apple, pear, flinty minerality, citrus peel and a topnote of white flowers. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, reserved and rock solid at the core, with fine soil inflection, a good spine of acidity and excellent length and grip on the very young and very well balanced finish.
