Dr Loosen always over-delivers for the price with this classic Kabinett from the Mosel blue slate vineyards in higher-elevation sites in the Riesling holy lands of Bernkastel, Graach, and Wehlen. Classic sweet stone fruits, cardamom spice, and a pulsating electric lime pith note animate the aromas. The palate offers such brilliant balance. Tart citrus and creamy sweet stone fruit flesh result in a honeyed apricot finish with a fine, acid-driven backbone.
