Entrancing white floral and flinty, mineral tones are in the driving seat; with a mouth-tingling grip of acidity and a full, engaging structure. Long and citrussy.

The wine draws you in with white blossom and field grass aromas that frolic with forest floor and green-apple tart. Lemon-citrus-driven acidity opens on the attack followed by citrus-spritzed apple slice and green-pear skin.

The 2023 Chablis Fourchaume 1er Cru is clean and precise with more mineralité and tension than many of its peers. It gains complexity with aeration. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity. Notes of lemon zest, ginger and Granny Smith apples combine well together. The finish demonstrates commendable cohesion and certainly good length. The 2023 is very fine.
