I have called their support line re delivery of a pre‑order and was very pleased with their level of support in delivering wine around a time period when traveling and\or not available to take receipt. Only thing I don’t like is UPS charges an access point fee to drop off five dollars per case I would have it shipped to my apartment but you have to be present to sign for it and UPS is terrible about arranging that

The usual classy fresh colour. The bouquet is a thing of beauty, very subtle, also supple, with floral notes. Silky in texture, the fruit is a darker red here, plus blueberry, more sensual than savoury though the finish brings us back to classic Clos de la Roche. All in harmony Drink from 2032-2040. Tasted Nov 2024.

The 2023 Clos de la Roche Grand Cru doesn't quite have the panache of the Echézeaux on the nose, a bit obdurate at the moment thanks to a reduction that doesn't shift in the glass. A second glass is called for, and this is much more representative: more red fruit, raspberry and cranberry, and a touch of tobacco. The palate is medium-bodied with black cherries and blood orange on the entry. It is a "sunny" Clos de la Roche with sweet fruit and candied orange peel toward the finish. This is a well-crafted Clos de la Roche, but it's a small step behind the 2022.
