Succulent, layered and generous, with aromas of blueberry confit, violets, sweet spices and potpourri. The palate is tightly wound, with concentrated yet fresh dark fruit, melting tannins and bright acidity. An excellent release of this wine with all the traditional hallmarks. Drink or hold.

Minty eucalyptus with a hint of red cherry and dark bitter chocolate power out of the gate on the nose, like they were shot out of a cannon. The soft entrance is sultry in texture, evolving to a tannic mid-palate with granular tannins that grow almost exponentially. Menthol, eucalyptus, camphor, black pepper, and dark cherries on the lush palate move to an almost leathery, spearmint, cranberry-like character in the finish.
