I began using B21 about 2 years ago. Wish I had found them sooner. They represent about 70% to 80 % of my liquor buys. Only the odd things are purchased elsewhere. The No 2 is a beautifully constructed wine in 2023, striking an impressive balance between fruit density and richness of character, with fine textures and expressive notes of bold black and blue fruit, graphite and fragrant earthy aromatics. The tannins are perfectly ripe and superfine, lending a seamless flow from first aromatic lift to the final sip. The winemakers for this vintage, as noted on the label, are Diana Snowden Seysses and Sam Baron. The wine is aged for 16 months in 28% new French oak barrels.
