The Alta Mora 2023 Etna Bianco is 100% Carricante that is aged in stainless steel on the fine lees for 10 months. The fruit used here represents an informal blend from the Contrade Arrigo, Verzelle and Piano dei Daini. This wine shows a golden straw color with medium texture and a little extra heft from a hot vintage that you feel over the palate. It offers waxy aromas of sweet peach and poached pear. There is more richness here compared to your standard Etna Bianco. Production is 40,000 bottles.

The nose has the fresh tang of lemon, lime and pink grapefruit, and gains texture and salinity from aromas of crushed rocks and tennis balls. Wet slate headlines the super saline palate, with more grapefruit for cohesion, before a stream of acid bolsters highlights apple notes on the finish.

100% Carricante from Linguaglossa and Castiglione di Sicilia, vinified in stainless steel, this is an electric white, slightly floral and creamy with a pithy attack followed by zesty lemon and pear. There's a saline streak which cleanses the palate and clears the way for some pineapple and apricot on the mid-palate. Balanced and precise.

The 2023 Etna Bianco lifts from the glass with a subtle bouquet of spices, yellow florals and white peaches. This is a soft and fruit-forward effort with a gentle tinge of minerality to balance its fresh acidity. The 2023 tapers off with medium length and a resonance of lemon peel and mint.

Floral and spice notes on the nose lace flavors of plum skin, toast, vanilla and lemon thyme in this balanced white, animated by both tangerine skin–infused acidity and a clean sweep of salinity. Drink now through 2030. 2,500 cases imported.
