Sourced from select sites throughout Napa Valley, this Cabernet Sauvignon captures Venge’s signature snapshot of the region, blending mountain, benchland, and valley floor fruit for a well-rounded expression of the valley. Aged for 22 months in 50% new French oak, the wine opens with fruit-forward red-toned aromatics, complemented by elegant cedarwood spice. On the palate, crisp, burly tannins frame layers of warm spices, juicy plum, and graphite, leading to a long, structured finish. Nils Venge established the brand in 1992 with the first vintage of Venge Vineyards. His son, Kirk Venge, began making the wines in 2003 and officially took over the brand in 2008, continuing its tradition of exceptional Napa Valley winemaking.
