I began using B21 about 2 years ago. Wish I had found them sooner. They represent about 70% to 80 % of my liquor buys. Only the odd things are purchased elsewhere. Travaglini's 2022 Gattinara is such a classy, polished wine. Sweet macerated cherry, pine, blood orange, spice and new leather are all lifted in the glass. Silky tannins wrap it all up in style. This is a very sexy wine from Travaglini. All the elements are so well balanced. What a total delight.

This is bright, with a crisp edge to its tart cherry, strawberry, rose hip and mineral flavors. Chalky tannins are present but integrated, with a lingering, iron-tinged aftertaste. Best from 2027 through 2039.
