Starting with the 2022 Châteauneuf Du Pape Galets D'Or, this medium ruby-hued effort offers a classic perfume of sweet red fruits (cherries, redcurrants) intermixed with sappy garrigue, pepper, and leather nuances. Nicely balanced and medium to full-bodied, with a focused, elegant style, it brings the sweet, ripe fruit of the vintage, has ripe tannins, and the class to drink spectacularly well for a solid 15 years if well stored.

An enticing, supple red, showing cassis and macerated plum brushed with roasted apple wood and baking spice details. There's an earthy dimension, with brown bread and cracked pepper, while saline-edged tangy acidity keeps tension. Iron shavings add firmness to the finish, which is round, broad and long. Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah. Drink now through 2036. 500 cases made, 500 cases imported.

A solid, layered and flavorful red with notes of red berries, warm herbs, cherry liqueur and sweet spices. It’s full-bodied with fine, firm tannins. Textural and well driven, with a subtle touch of herb and spice bringing vitality at the center and a long, focused finish. Drink or hold.

The perfumed 2022 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Galets d'Or develops with red cherry, forest strawberry, red plum, dried herbs and violets. Full-bodied and balanced, the 2022 is smooth and structured, sporting excellent freshness. A juicy, sleek finish rounds it up.
