Mid pink to crimson. The bouquet is deliciously perfumed, the floral side of red berry fruit, with some raspberries showing through on the palate behind. Very pure, crisp acidity, light white pepper, now some cherry blossom. Very lovely in a light and fine style, tip-top for a village Savigny Drink from 2028-2034.

The 2022 Savigny-lès-Beaune Village has a well-defined bouquet with brambly red fruit, white pepper and a touch of clove. The palate is medium-bodied with a lovely balance and a keen thread of acidity. The 100% whole bunches lend a guiding hand rather than dictating the wine, which equals some clever winemaking. Recommended.
