Red-fruit and mineral nose with sour cherries, iron, tobacco and earthy spice. Firm and savory on the palate with medium body and a lightly chewy, energetic finish. Very attractive, spiced and vibrant, with a tense and lingering finish. Drink or hold.

This old-vine single-vineyard offering from Selvapiana features all the freshness you'd expect from the loftier, cooler Rufina subzone of Chianti. Deep, dark fruits underlined by slightly firm tannins lead into a chewy and sapid mid-palate, then a lifted floral, mineral finish. Yum!
