The 2022 Heritage Red is a blend of 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Petit Verdot, 7% Malbec, and 6% Merlot, sourced from estate vineyards across Alexander Valley and Sonoma County. Fermented in stainless steel and aged for 15 months in approximately 30% new French oak, this wine, crafted by winemaker Henry DeLambert, is vibrant and expressive. Bright red-toned fruit notes are intertwined with vanilla and toasty cedarwood spices. The juicy red fruit takes centre stage on the palate, supported by very fine, silky tannins. Layers of rich baking spices, espresso bean, walnut husk, and coriander nuances create a long and satisfying finish.

A big, rounded, friendly, bear hug of a wine that’s soft in tannins, broad and ripe in flavors. Full-bodied but easy to sip, it’s mostly cabernet sauvignon with smaller amounts of petit verdot, malbec and other reds. Drink now.
