We use several different Online wine retailers but B‑21 was new to us. We were looking for a very specific Australian wine and a specific vintage. B‑21 had what we were searching for at an excellent price. Ordered six bottles which were delivered 6 days after order confirmation. Excellent customer service and communication. The 2022 Kerner wafts up with a cooling blend of lemon sorbet, chamomile and sweet smoke that soothes the soul. This is deeply textural, nearly weighty in feel yet energetic and spry, with tart orchard fruits energized by saline-tinged acidity as hints of kiwi and sour citrus add tension toward the close. While long and staining, the 2022 is also impossibly fresh, leaving a caking of minerality and traces of candied lime that wonderful contrast. This embodies Kerner's combination of richness, vivid fruit and energy in the best possible way.
