A well-composed, vibrant and precise Saint-Joseph with so much energy, transparency and drive. The nose shows notes of dark cherries, currants, crushed stones, violets and black pepper. It’s medium-bodied with fine tannins. Silky texture at the center with a harmonious frame of finely grained tannins structuring the mid-palate. Plenty of texture, brightness and minerality to the transparent and crunchy dark cherry character. Vivid and flavorful with a long, vibrant finish. Drink or hold.

Rich and concentrated, with tautness thanks to a foundation of graphite and drying black tea tannins wrapped around cassis puree, ganache and violet notes. Straight and firm, with an attractive core of black plum and wild berry. Oak is beautifully integrated on the pleasingly bitter finish. Still tightly coiled, this needs time to unfurl. Best from 2026 through 2032. 300 cases imported.

Smoky bacon and violet notes, then full-bodied, generous and concentrated in the mouth. Good acidity and internal freshness, even though the fruit is soft, liqueured and velvety with a long finish. Fermented with a proportion of whole bunch; matured for 15 months in demi-muids.
