Matured for 20 months in 40% new French oak and 10% new American oak, it has pure aromas of blackcurrant, iodine, aniseed and violet. The full-bodied palate offers a concentrated core of perfumed fruit. It's structured by grainy tannins and just enough juicy acidity, and it has a long, nuanced finish. 3,514 cases produced.
