A barrel selection of the finest blocks from the Hess Collection’s Mount Veeder estate vineyards. This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon was aged for 22 months in 65% new French oak, resulting in a powerful and expressive wine that showcases Napa ripeness balanced by robust mountain tannins. Fragrant Bing cherry and spiced plum fruit feel plush and silky. Yet, the wine carries plenty of tension and energy, layered with spice and complexity and produced by consultant winemaker Celia Welch alongside resident Hess winemaker Dave Guffy.

Muscular and bold, this Malbec based red blend delivers the succulent, ripe fruits of the variety brought together with the structure and depth of Petite Sirah and Cabernet. Oak spices and lush fruits fill the mouth with flavor.
