An age-worthy wine that’s concentrated, deep and well-structured, but well-balanced enough to drink soon. Made with 99.7% cabernet sauvignon and a pinch of syrah. Blackcurrants, blackberries, black olives, dark chocolate and stony, mineral accents. From Lookout Mountain Ranch on rolling hills with well-drained, gravelly soil. Sustainable. Drink now or hold.

This 100% Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from the Lookout Vineyard in Alexander Valley and the Rock Rose Vineyard surrounding the PreVail winery, where the wine is crafted. The wine undergoes fermentation in stainless steel and is aged for 19 months in 54% new French oak. It boasts a rich, rounded profile with ample tension, energy, and structure, supported by elongated, velvety tannins. Notes of kirsch, spiced plums, and brambly cranberry fruit intermingle with savoury sagebrush, hints of bay laurel, and dark cacao—a beautifully balanced wine, combining depth and complexity with elegance and freshness.

This earthy and structured Cabernet pops from the glass with aromas of spiced plum compote, raspberry liqueur and leather on the nose, while the palate delivers a forceful wave of tannin and flavors of cocoa, black cherry and peppery spice.
