The Fèlsina 2022 Chardonnay Collezione Privata I Sistri shows a golden color with a spicy bouquet of cinnamon and nutmeg layered with baked apple and pineapple. Medium-bodied, the wine gives as good as it gets, showing pretty intensity and brightness against a soft, yielding texture. There is richness here but also enough freshness to keep the wine nicely balanced. The Chardonnay is fermented in barrique with daily bâtonnage and aged in barrique for 20 months. Production is 6,000 bottles.
