This is a seamless co-fermentation of 85% malbec and 15% cabernet franc. Paprika and sweet tobacco leaves with an undertone of dark cherries and blackberries. A touch of dark chocolate, too. Tannins are really fresh, mealy and resolved. Really long and focused. Drink or hold.

Named in honor of Sebastián Zuccardi's grandfather, the 2022 Tito Zuccardi is co-fermented Malbec (80%) and Cabernet Franc (20%) from Altamira. A round, soft and inviting nose of black and blue fruit, turned earth and dried flowers introduces a finessed, supple palate that combines textural depth with lifted vibrancy. It closes with a savory, high-toned, pleasantly drying finish framed with refined tannins.

The 2022 Malbec - Cabernet Franc Tito Zuccardi from Paraje Altamira is an 80-20 cofermentation. Eighty percent of this wine was aged in concrete, while the remaining 20% was left in large French oak barrels for ten months. It delivers enticing aromas of blackberry, cherry, plum, ash and a touch of cigar box. The palate is smooth and compact, with a fine, chalky texture. This is a calibrated red with the taut feel characteristic of Uco Valley wines.

Paying tribute to the winemaker's visionary grandfather, this wine is both elegant and expressive. The nose exhibits delicate floral aromas and raspberries. Firm, refined tannins and vigorous acidity frame a medley of berry flavors on the balanced palate. Subtle hints of cinnamon and tobacco meet in the lasting finish.
