Beautiful black raspberries, light strawberries, spice, peppery garrigue, and floral notes define the 2022 Rasteau Marc. Very elegant, pretty, and perfumed, this medium-bodied, spicy effort has no hard edges and beautiful tannins and is a terrific wine in the vintage. Already hard to resist, this blend of 50% Grenache, 25% Mourvèdre, and 25% Syrah, aged 11 months in demi-muids, will nevertheless evolve for a decade.

The nose is a captivating blend of perfectly ripe red cherries, tarragon, and sous bois, all driven by a distinct sense of terroir. On the palate, the wine feels a bit reserved, still tightly wound, with hints of cured meat, black olive, dried lavender, and a touch of terracotta adding depth. While it's intriguing now, this wine will truly benefit from further maturation—cellar through 2028+ before revisiting.

Dense, textured and structured, this blend of grenache, syrah and mourvedre presents notes of blackberries, chocolate wafers and dried spices on the nose. It’s full-bodied, with an abundance of fruit and spices mingling on the palate. Dense and fleshy, it offers a compact finish. Drink now or hold.
