Concentrated aromas of black cherry, plum and coffee lift the nose of this blend. The palate delivers a punchy wave of raspberry acidity, supple tannin and flavors of berry compote and flowers that blossom on the finish.

A massive, full-bodied Bordeaux-style blend that manages to be quite smooth and elegant in texture, with deep, dark fruit and chocolate taking center stage. So rich and dense but polished, with notes of cocoa, blackcurrants, balsam and spearmint. Full, fine-grained tannins and a lingering finish. 57% cabernet sauvignon, 25% malbec, 15% petit verdot and 3% syrah. Sustainable. Drink now or hold.

The Estate Red comes from blocks planted behind Roth, owned by the Foley Family, just across Chalk Hill Road from Chalk Hill Winery. Known as the Clara site, the blend comprises 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 15% Petit Verdot, and 3% Malbec. Fermented in stainless steel and aged in approximately 60% new French oak, this is a full-bodied, stylish red wine with a fabulous concentration of dark berry fruit and warm baking spices. Plush, satiny tannins grip the sides of the palate, while the finish is long and layered with cola spices, pressed flowers, and loamy earth. Fresh and energetic, this wine balances richness with vibrancy for an elegant, satisfying experience.
