Super-polished and wonderfully decadent, showcasing a fantastic balance of fine-grained, mineral-laced tannins with ripe black cherry and blackberry fruit. Nuances of tobacco, sage and thyme add intrigue, while notes of mocha and crushed cocoa nibs contribute a surprising freshness, framed by vibrant blood orange acidity. You'd never guess there was a tremendous heat spell over Labour Day in Napa when tasting this wine. It’s a solid effort for a challenging vintage and offers good potential for cellaring.

A dark, saturated wine that’s super ripe in flavor, suave and soft in texture. Big but finely polished tannins coat the palate, with dusky, toasty black cherries and blackberries that show a jammy sense of lusciousness. From the Napa division of the big Delicato Family Wines operation. Drink now or hold.
