A youthful nose of flint and wild herbs with shimmering white tree fruit aromas plunge you into this racy and energetic dry riesling that’s incredibly focused and vibrant with an extremely long crystalline finish. Enormous aging potential. Sustainable. Drinkable now, but best from 2025.

The 2022 Riesling Gaisberg opens with both crushed citrus foliage and chervil on the nose. Grown on a high-lying, terraced, west-facing parcel, this gets both afternoon sun and cooling winds. The palate is as racy as it is yeasty—as aromatic as it is incisive. This is bold, absolutely zesty and oh-so-animating, so linear and so juicy. A very clear-cut wine. (Bone-dry)
