An elegant and finely-nuanced Mosel Kabinett with a wide spectrum of aromas that range from mandarin orange to pomegranate and wild strawberry. In spite of the juiciness on the front and mid-palate this is delicate and has a tantalizing spiciness at the long finish. Drink or hold.

The 2022 Ürziger Würzgarten Riesling Kabinett offers a clear, bright and elegant, finely flinty bouquet of crushed and weathered rocks. On the palate, this is a mouth-filling, pure and saline, very elegant and balanced Würzgarten Kabinett with a long, saline and beautifully balanced finish. It's a delicious Riesling that was bottled with 9% stated alcohol and a natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in November 2023.

The 2022 Riesling Ürziger Würzgarten Kabinett is harvested from parcels either directly at the bottom of the slope for more shade or at the top for ventilation. The iron-rich Permian red stone lends immediate savor to the wine. The nose shimmers with spiced orange aromas, enticing and highly aromatic. The light palate comes in with a gentle sweetness boosting those aromatic orange flavors, filling your mouth and mind. A lovely interplay of gentle sweetness and acidity. The finish is long with orange and a touch of iron oxide. Around 35g/L of sugar. (Medium)
