Deep, saturated red-purple hue with aromas of black plum and cherry fruits, cut through with hints of blackstrap licorice, violets, blackforest cake, dark chocolate and oak spice. Sweetly fruited on the palate with deep blackberry and plum fruits tinged with warm earth, fruitcake spice and Old Jamaica chocolate. Impressive fruit density, tight sandy tannin and bright acid drive.

This 2021 Angel's Share Shiraz is pert and frisky and lifted in the fruit department, underpinned by a mineral skein of tannins. It still needs a little more time to come together, but everything is in the right place, putting it on the right track in the future. Lovely wine.

The 2021 Angels' Share is unashamedly built to please. It is bursting with vibrant sweet fruits with red cherry, licorice and fruit pastilles delivered with good intensity.
