Plum, cassis and wild blackberry flavors are firm and dense, with hints of earth, dried herbs and black tea, plus cigar box details that linger. Drink now. 19,960 cases imported.

This is a broody, densely packed bottling of Max's Cab, with a good lick of cedar and a toasted coconut oak notes alongside the blackberry, blood plum and dried mint ones. Concentrated, with luscious dark fruit on the palate, there's a powerful line of raspy tannins which veer towards astringency on the finish.
