The 2021 L'Ange Rouge is dreamy with a spicy blend of ripe blueberries complemented by sweet smoke and chalk dust. This is soothingly round and supple with tart raspberry and liquid inner florals complemented by stony minerality. The 2021 cleans up beautifully, with tart blackberry and black cherry mingling as residual acids. Gentle tannins underscore licorice hints. L'Ange Rouge is a blend of 64% Grenache, 24% Syrah and 12% Mourvèdre.

The 2021 L'ange Rouge Grenache was made with whole clusters and fermented in concrete tanks. A blend of 64% Grenache, 24% Syrah and 12% Mourvedre, it has a medium ruby-purple color and pretty aromas of cranberries, blueberries and pomegranate. The medium-bodied palate is chalky and fresh with intense, perfumed fruits and a long, layered finish.
