Very easy to place your order, prices are good, confirmation and shipping information is quick and the order arrives correct and usually a day sooner than expected. What more could you ask for. The 2021 Volnay Village, which comes from four parcels since one was pulled up, has an attractive nose with brambly red fruit, cranberry and redcurrant, damp undergrowth scents surfacing with aeration, Pommard-like. The palate is fresh with crunchy red fruit, slightly brittle in texture with (again) a Pommard-inspired structure towards the finish. For those that miss "old school" Volnay.
