Delightfully floral and charming, Foxen Vineyard and Winery's Block UU Chardonnay from Bien Nacido Vineyard exhibits softer florals paired with tropical notes like pineapple and raw macadamia nut. Earthy notes of white button mushrooms and ocean minerals add complexity. Eight months of ageing sur lie adds body and a touch of creaminess to a cuvée of relative simplicity and grace. Would be excellent paired with subtler flavours; Soft white cheese or braised white fish and rice.
