Black cherry, plum, lavender, licorice, menthol and black pepper all run through this super-expressive Pinot from Failla.

The 2021 Failla Estate Pinot Noir is medium ruby-purple in color. It needs a swirl or two to bring out notes of red roses, black raspberries, and kirsch, with nuances of mossy tree bark, charcoal, and iron ore. The medium-bodied palate is tightly knit, with firm, grainy tannins and great tension, finishing long and minerally.
