Deep, ripe but fresh on the nose with sweet blackcurrants, blackberries, some dark mint chocolate, fresh figs and a touch of cigar box. Melted, silky tannins on the flavorful, full-bodied palate give it some nice polish. Aged 12 months in oak barrels, of which 30% is new. Drink or hold.

Savory and floral up front, showing sage, dried rose petal and lavender notes, while the palate is instantly enlivened by fresh acidity, driving the rich plum and cherry flavors onto the smooth-textured finish, where a hint of chocolate sneaks in.
