The 2021 Red Blend Gaia is 50% Malbec, 45% Syrah and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon from Gualtallary, Uco Valley. It was aged for 10 months in barrels. A vivid purple in the glass. The nose offers plum, herbs, hints of black pepper, olives, and redcurrant over a bed of oak. Juicy with refined, slightly taut tannins, it’s balanced in the mouth with plenty of fruity flavor. A complex, but elegantly easygoing wine.
