The 2020 Bonarda - Malbec Tikal Patriota is a 60/40 blend from La Consulta, Uco Valley. Purple in hue. The nose offers notes of raspberry and blackberry with a hint of herbs and faint aromas from the aging process. Quite smooth and expansive on the palate with mild freshness, fruity flavors gather at the back of the mouth followed by oak aromas right at the end. An accomplished wine.

A blend of sixty percent bonarda, the balance malbec, this wine's concentrated black fruit flavors play alongside its grippy tannins and mouthwatering acidity. There's some savory complexity behind the wall of flavors, with orange zest flavors peeking out around the edges.
