The 2020 Tauzinat L'Hermitage is packed with super-ripe red fruit, cinnamon, rose petal and a touch of blood orange. Medium in body and yet quite racy, the 2020 has quite a bit to offer. With élevage it has developed into a more elegant wine than it was from barrel. Attractive floral and spice notes lift the finish nicely.

Attractive nose of blueberries, plums and some roasted chestnuts. A juicy and full-bodied St.-Emilion that shows a nice bite of chewy tannins and fruit. Tight but textured. 85% merlot and 15% cabernet franc. Better from 2024.

Richly supple black fruits, waves of smoked caramel, sleek and well polished tannins, fresh acidities. A little austere right now, needs a few years in bottle but has perky charm. A 9ha estate from Claire Moueix and Cyril Basteau, good stuff.
