The 2020 Crianza hails from Ribera del Duero and was aged for 12 months in barrels, a third of them new French oak and the remainder used American and French oak. Purple in color. The nose presents crushed plum and black cherry along with tomato leaf and balsamic notes, all framed by faint, oaky aromas. Dry and bold, the reactive tannins add depth to the mild expression. The 2020 is pretty juicy, with lingering fruity notes.

Upfront spices and coffee from the oak with grilled meat and rich dark cherry fruit. It turns a little floral as it unfurls in the glass. Angular, chewy tannins on the palate with medium to full body and a tight, medium-long finish. Drink from 2024.
