Bright straw-colored, the 2020 Champagne Grand Cru Ambonnay Brut Nature is 58% Pinot and the rest Chardonnay. It’s ripe with notes of white peach, reflecting the breadth of the village, with a rich, chalky texture that remains subtle. Medium to full-bodied, it offers ample richness and structure, though I wouldn't be surprised if the Pinot Noir shines even more. Drink over the next 15-20 years. I like the purity and clarity of this one. It undergoes nine months of lees contact in the barrel and spends three years in the caves.

This is fragrant and very pretty, showing raspberries, sliced apples, ginger, grapefruit and biscuits on the nose. Zesty and dry on the palate, with tight bubbles and a long, refreshing and elegant finish. 58% pinot noir and 42% chardonnay. From biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification. Disgorged February 2025. Drink or hold.
