The 2022 Hyon la Fleur reveals a gourmand, delicate bouquet of cassis, rose, violet and spices. Moderately weighted and seamless, it's perfectly balanced with velvety tannins, good depth at the core and a long, mouthwatering finish.

Extremely pretty, floral waves of raspberry leaf, peony, raspberry fruits with edges of mandarin peel. An excellent estate with real potential, and an interesting backstory, as it is owned by a former student of Jean-Claude Berrouet who switched careers from winemaker to priest (his congregation is over in Pessac-Léognan). He made the smart decision to confer the running of his wine property, located by St Christophe de bardes, to Berrouet and his son Jeff.
