The 2020 Malbec Poligonos Del Valle De Uco San Pablo was aged in concrete. A vivid purple in the glass. The pure, expressive nose delivers fresh plum and sour cherry, country herbs and floral hints. In the mouth, it’s energetic and driven by the freshness with finely grained tannins and a free flow. The palate lingers at length, reliving the aromatic profile. Even though 2020 was a warm year, freshness was preserved by the cool region.

A touch of black pepper lends spice to a nose of Jarilla, ripe red plum and chalk. Well structured, this red from one of the higher altitude vineyards in Uco Valley, delivers layers of fresh cherry and blueberry flavors accented by rosemary. It has a mineral texture and lively acidity finishing with spicy notes.
