The 2020 Gran Vin Fabre Montmayou is 85% Malbec, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Merlot from Vistalba, Luján de Cuyo. It was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, new and used. A purple wine in hue, the nose features crushed plum, cherry and currant, along with a marmalade layer and hints of balsamic hint against a cedar backdrop. Dry, rich and velvety, this nuanced red offers a concentrated yet nimble mouthfeel, lingering on the fruit tones. This pristine, bold and beautiful Luján de Cuyo red wine is notably Bordeaux-inspired.
