Great stuff, plenty of rich lemon character, bursting with freshness and life, and a ton of Chardonnay signature. Tasted twice, and same impression both times - easy to recommend, unfussy, full of character, almost a lemon curd edge to it, no need to wait to drink. Pierre Chapuis winemaker, Domaine Maurice et Anne-Marie Chapuis.

New to the Place de Bordeaux this year. Crystalline and clear, fresh on the nose, lightly fragrant with white floral notes and lemon, quince, pear and apple notes. Fresh and really lively, zesty lemon with a butteriness that coats the mouth instantly with soft flecks of caramel, curd, toast and vanilla. Easy to drink and enjoy, well made with energy and sustains the flavour to a long, lingering finish. Mouthwatering and fun, not the most complex but I love the weight and texture this has. The 2020 Chorey-les-Beaune Blanc gives up delicate scents of yellow apples, grapefruit, and white peaches with touches of lemon butter and toast. The medium-bodied palate has a satiny texture, with plenty of expressive apple and citrus flavors and a racy backbone, finishing savory.
