A total charmer, the 2020 Crocus L'Atelier is full-bodied but light on its feet. Displaying a saturated purple hue, the nose is ripe and lush, with notes of black raspberry preserve, dusty earth, dried herbs, and wildflowers. Produced in a fresh style, without the use of oak, it’s pure and versatile and would be exceptionally suited for bistro fare. Drink 2025-2032.

One of the three wines as part of a collaboration between California winemaker Paul Hobbs and Cahors producer Georges Vigoroux, this wine is rich, full of tannins ,but also with a smooth texture. Light wood aging gives a spicy character. Drink from 2024.
