Fantastic tension and concentration give this superbly balanced wine a memorable profile that will bring pleasure for years to come. Intricate layers of raspberries, cranberries, minerals and orange peel leave a lingering finish. Best from 2028.

This wine sources its fruit from one of the headline vineyards in La Morra. Ceretto is indeed lucky to have such a beautiful site, which measures 5.6 hectares. The 2020 Barolo Brunate, made with organic fruit, is a wine of energy and tension. This vintage delivers extra power as well. It proceeds over the palate with pretty tightness and texture, underlined by finesse and length. Red and purple fruits abound, as do light shadings of earth and spice. It ages in oak for a total of three years.

This Brunate, from one of La Morra's most esteemed crus, is an instant classic. The nose is a collage of crushed cherries, cranberry, and a whisper of blood orange zest, that stimulates the senses. On the palate, the wine is impeccably balanced, with well-integrated tannins providing a solid structure for the complex array of flavors of aged tea, pink rose petals and pomegranate. The finish is long and satisfying, showcasing the cru's signature beauty. Drink 2026 - 2045

Located in between La Morra and Barolo, with 5.6ha of vines, has the medium-weight jeweled ruby joy of great Nebbiolo. The level of grip and steeliness differentiates Barolo from Barbaresco, stll with the Nebbiolo combination of steel and silk, this offers a slow build, raspberry, mandarin peel, pomegranate, an excellent quality wine that needs a few years in bottle to let those smoky, swirling floral aromas fully unwind. Dark nose, sultry and seductive, rose and violet petals and berry fruit, scented in a rich perfumed way. Quite a profound initial burst of flavour and texture on the palate, deep and full black and red cherries and bramble fruit. Tannins are full and filling, this makes a bold first impression then just tapers off slightly towards the finish, becoming more pointed and losing some easy brightness becoming more serious and knitted. This is saving some of its greatness for later but I love the lingering tight cherry and iron-edged finish. Something very captivating about this wine.
