Here the brooding and very fresh nose reflects notes of leather, earth, game and ripe dark currant scents. There is excellent energy and delineation to the even more mineral-driven larger-scaled flavors that flash good power and a taut muscularity on the youthfully austere and serious finale. Good stuff that should reward at least a decade or so of keeping and a wine that will need at a minimum of 5 to 6 years. *Outstanding*
