This Chéry cuvée certainly has greater aromatic intensity than André's cuvée classique. It's very well balanced and vibrant, with surprising concentration on the palate. Lovely, bright acidity and a mineral touch leads to a long finish. A very promising Chéry at this stage. 20% new oak.

The 2020 Condrieu Chery doesn't have the sheer richness of the Chanson and is more mineral-laced, with a gorgeous perfume of white peach, tangerine, pineapple, and chalky minerality. Medium to full-bodied, this balanced, sensationally pure Condrieu will put on a touch of richness with a year in bottle and will keep nicely for 7-8 years. It's another incredible effort from one of the masters of the variety!
