From the award winning Tuscan estate producing “some of the best wines in Chianti Classico” according to Wine Advocate’s Monica Larner, the 94-point 2019 Tolaini Valdisanti offers aromatic dark, sumptuous fruit hinting of earthy spice with velvety, mouth-coating tannins, a luxurious 50-50 blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cab Franc built to age for nearly two decades and value-priced well below its pedigree.

Employing state-of-the-art technology and top viticultural experts, including famed enologist Michel Rolland, to determine the optimal site for each type of grape, the estate’s 50 hectares of organically certified vineyards are planted with a mix of international varietals as well as the indigenous Sangiovese in the region’s sandy, stony soils known as tufa. Situated high in the Berardenga hills, the 2019 Tolaini Valdisanti is sourced from the estate’s sustainably farmed Tenuta San Giovanni Vineyard, the vines tended by hand to maintain low yields and allow the grapes to reach optimal ripeness.
