Yep, you guessed it, Charles Smith – wild blonde hair, in-your-face attitude as present as ever – has worked his magic once more. This bombastic batch bears a new signature, a very serious label clues you in to a new attitude – Charles calls it "small batch winemaking integrity, but doing so on a larger scale." My kind of stuff. He's sourcing Bordeaux varietals – the quality of grapes found in his 99-point Royal City line – from the most serious parcels in the Columbia Valley. The 2017 made the 2019 Wine Spectator Top 100 list. Jeb Dunnuck calls this 2019 "a stunning value." I agree. You will, too. You've loved this wine since Charles introduced the 2013 vintage.
