Described as crafting "beautiful, layered, compelling Cabernet Sauvignon" by Jeb Dunnuck, winemaker Putnam aged the muscular 92 pt. 2019 Raymond Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve Selection for 19 months in 35% new French, blending fruit from 14 top sites across Napa including the estate vineyards in Rutherford and St. Helena as well as parcels on Howell Mountain and Atlas Peak, revealing bright, dark fruit and smooth harmonious tannins that "finishes with a velvety flourish" according to the Wine Advocate's Joe Czerwinski mirrored in its signature red velvet label.
