Lovely and contemplative with heady brown spices, green tobacco, and blackberry fruit laced with black liquorice and sweet oak. A gorgeous savoury core of black peppercorns, Kalamata olives, and rich dark fruit notes float atop beams of fine-grained tannins, all gob-smacked with tart, crunchy acidity and tangy crushed cocoa nibs. This is a full-flavoured, rich and muscular Cabernet showing the freshness of the vintage that, with time in the glass, begins to reveal more layers of crushed stones, manzanitas and live oak, as an aromatic panoply of the surrounding woodlands that encircle the Neyers Ranch estate above St. Helena where Conn Creek runs through the property which rises from 121-365 metres.

Very rich, ripe, sweet-seeming fruit and chocolate flavors are wrapped in velvety tannins. The wine offers dried cherries, dark plums and blueberries in a seamless, concentrated expression.
